Kertek mentén, hegyek fölött, ébred a napocska,
sugarait az álmos vidéken, vidáman szétszórja,
Kisvasút, vas sínen jár, felmegy dombra és buckára,
Forog a vas kereke körbe-körbe járva, szeli a sok kilométert, állomásig meg sem állva,
Tekeredik a sok kocsi, koptatja a síneket, az ablakból sok kis gyerek, mosolyogva integet,
Erdőt mezőt lát, a sok kíváncsi szem, a réten, pár őzike átszalad ijedten,
Falvakat, városokat felkeres a kisvasút, útja lassan végéhez ér, haza viszi a sok túrázót,
Állomáshoz közeledve kürt hangja szól, jelzi a síneknél vigyázni kell, mert jön a szerelvény,
Váróban nagy a nyüzsgés, sok szülő figyeli, hol találja kirándulásból hazatérő gyermekét,
Állomáson mindenki boldog, leszáll és hazatér,
Sok élménnyel gazdagodva, a szülőknek sokat mesél,
mert vonatozni nem mindennapi esemény,
